Hello! I offer Gestalt Counselling and Psychotherapy in Swansea, South Wales.
People come for counselling and psychotherapy for all sorts of reasons. Whether you experience difficulties with relationships, stress, bereavement, depression, anxiety, finding your purpose in life or addictions to alcohol or drugs, you don’t have to deal with it alone!
Psychotherapy can offer a safe and supportive space to explore your issues, leave behind old hurts and reconfigure your life in a way that suits you better.

Using a Gestalt approach I aim to help people move out of painful or unhelpful patterns and to live a fuller and more satisfying life. My approach to therapy is tailored to suit your unique way of being in the world. As part of how I work, I listen closely to you and work side by side with you to understand your dilemmas, help shed more light on them, and explore creatively alternative approaches to them.
Adopting a holistic approach I aim to create a space that is open to exploring creatively with you what you bring. I view the whole of you in the context of your unique needs, values and history. Harnessing your imagination, creativity and embodied expression I aim to support you in accessing your inherent resources and strengths, and to make better use of them.
Experience of counselling and psychotherapy
During the last 13 years, I have worked with people dealing with issues such as:
- traversing life-changing decisions such as divorce or career changes
- relationships with family, friends and people at work,
- low self-worth,
- anxiety and depression,
- bereavement/losing a loved one,
- overcoming traumatic events,
- problems with food
- suicidal thoughts and self-harm
My practice is influenced by my background in experiential/practical learning in the outdoors, practicing psychotherapy in the NHS, and my interests in movement, art and mindfulness practices.
