I provide psychotherapy in a safe, confidential and non-judgemental environment, supporting you to explore whatever brings you to therapy at this time. I work in an integrated relational way, drawing on a number of approaches, including Transactional Analysis, Contemporary Gestalt and Psychodynamic therapy. I believe that this allows for flexibility to respond to a person’s needs at each stage of the therapeutic process.

People seek psychotherapy for a wide range of reasons. Psychotherapy can be helpful with a range of problems, including low self esteem, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, trauma, bereavement, childhood issues, stress. I offer a safe space to look at past and present experiences, to explore and change unhelpful patterns and to support you to develop a greater sense of self acceptance in your life.

My Experience

I have 25 years of experience offering support to people going through difficult periods in their lives. I have worked in the voluntary and statutory sectors, as a Social Work practitioner and as a counsellor and psychotherapist. I am a qualified practice educator in social work. I trained as a psychotherapist with the Welsh Psychotherapy Institute in Cardiff and hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapy.

I am able to offer short term and longer term work depending on what brings you to therapy.

I charge £45 a session and work in central Swansea. I am currently offering sessions on Zoom. The sessions are 50 minutes long.

I adhere to the United Kingdom Council of Psychotherapy (UKCP) Code of Ethics.
